Boutique Manager - Ma Poule

Our Boutique Manager contributes to Ma Poule Torvehallerne’s success by creating and delivering a superb and special experience for our customers. You’ll be a passionate ambassador for Ma Poule Torvehallerne and will live and champion our mission and values whilst leading your team to create inspiring customer moments and embrace our French and Mediterranean food and beverage culture. You motivate and inspire your team to achieve productivity and sales goals ensuring optimum efficiency. You work closely with the Operations Manager to plan and carry out necessary tasks. Your work is split between active floor work and office work including weekly meetings with relevant groups in the company.

As a leader at Ma Poule, you will be empowered to treat the store as if it is your own business. You need to have a solid and good knowledge in French and Mediterranean food and beverage, experience in goods receiving, quality and waste control, stock taking and staff scheduling. You also have experience in fast paced retail and hospitality. You will understand your market, know the competition, and can identify opportunities to drive profits and push the business forwards. You will need a high level of spoken English and will be happy to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

  • Proven high knowledge in French and Mediterranean food and beverage.
  • Proven experience of being a shop manager: leading, coaching and developing a team in a customer focused retail business.
  • Proven ability to develop and grow both a team and business.
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and delegate.
  • Proficient in using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills.
