Total Nordic Hub operates Total Marketing & Services activities in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland & Iceland), through four affiliates : Total Denmark A/S, Total Norge AS, Total Sweden AB & Total M&S Finland Oy, with its headquarter located in Copenhagen in Denmark.

Total Nordic Hub activities are: Sale of Bitumen products, Automotive and Industry lubricants, Special Fluids and Aviation fuels. Assets include a Bitumen depot in Helsingborg (Sweden), lubricants depot in Denmark, Jet Al participations in airport pools in Copenhagen. In addition the NORDIC hub outsources further logistics depots in Nordic countries.

The Position is located in Copenhagen.


The Position as a SPOC Accounting, Short term contract, with the following responsibilities:

  • Provides external & internal interface re the collections  from customers & their reconciliation.
  • Daily control over clearing of customers’ accounts and bank accounts updates
  • Dunning process run & control ( 2 times a month)
  • Invoices arrival/check/scan and distribution to SSC
  • Handle vendor communication and validation of rejected vendor invoices
  • Internal & external communication re invoices/POs/GRs discrepancies
  • Ensure proper handling and coding of invoices
  • Manage the process of SAP payments proposals and internal validation
  • Manage coordination on manual journal entries
  • Manage communication re Fixed Assets creation/disposal, their depreciation and reconciliation
  • Together with controlling, manage bad debt provisions, other accruals and  provisions required for month end close

Other accounting tasks:

  Audit support during internal and external audits. When required to prepare/finalize necessary reconciliations and reports, and liaise with auditors and provide the required documentation.
  Intercompany reconciliations and communication with other affiliates to obtain confirmations for annual audit.
  Weekly check of accounting entries made and management of corrections/amendments when required


 Mature markets, offering numerous opportunities in a very competitive environment.
 Multiple cultures, currencies, market practices in Nordic countries and intense relations with Group SSC in Romania.

 Strong and accurate communication process between the HUB Nordic & SSC in Romania
 Robust handling and efficient and timely resolution of all accounting queries/issues/problems                            

  Organization, autonomy, initiative, communication skills
  Practical knowledge of accounting and SAP ERP
  Computer & IT system knowledge
  Outgoing and friendly personality. Ability to build relationships with the HUB Nordic and with the SSC team in Bucharest.
  Fluent English
