On the occasion of the organization of the C40, the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce, Business France, the French Embassy and MEDEF International (Task Force on Sustainable City) are pleased to invite you on Friday 11th of October to the conference “Sustainable as Inclusive: Toward a French approach on sustainable cities”.

The French approach to sustainable cities considers governance, inclusivity and connectivity as key for a sustainable future of any city in tomorrow’s world, and that the challenge of sustainable cities in emerging countries is fundamental in the global equation. The idea is to gather different actors to co-build smarter cities in a user centric way, ensuring both environmental, economic, and social inclusion. It also encompasses creating links between city users via mobility and digital connectivity. We will illustrate the sustainable city à la française by the planning of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Thus, the French Olympic Games Delivery Authority, SOLIDEO, has applied a highly ambitious environmental excellence strategy and is committed to creating an exemplary heritage for the territories involved, their inhabitants and generations to come.
