Ambitious Sales Coordinator for international company (preferably French-speaking)

Established in 1975, Missionpharma is a leading supplier of medicine, medical consumables and hospital equipment to the public healthcare sector in developing countries worldwide. Our clients include, among others, ministries of health, international funders and NGOs. We provide tailored healthcare solutions  based on project sales via international tender businesses.

Our headquarters are located in Lynge, North of Copenhagen, and we have subsidiaries and regional offices in India, China and Africa as well as local representatives in more than 35 countries worldwide. Since 2012, Missionpharma has been a part of the French company, Eurapharma, which is owned by the CFAO Group.

Our sales department is looking for a skilled, dynamic and structured Sales Coordinator with the ambitions of obtaining responsibility for own client portfolio.

The position

The position is divided into two phases:

  • Phase 1: You will be a part of our project administration (Back Office)
  • Phase 2: You will have responsibility for your own client portfolio (Country Manager)

Phase 1 (Back Office)

You will be a part of our Back Office team, which constitutes a vital part of our organisation and the backbone in our offer and order administration. We operate in highly deadline-focused market, where project timelines often stretches from 48 hours to six weeks.

You will manage all administrative activities connected to our offer and order processes in collaboration with the Country Manager and colleagues from Quality, Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse, located in both Denmark, Asia and Africa.

Your responsibilities primarily lie within the following two areas:

  • Internal handling of international tenders; from receipts of tender documents to submission of our offer. Your main responsibility is to ensure that the tender is submitted in due time and in full compliance with tender specifications. This includes management of meetings and internal deadlines, follow up on delegated activities, collection and preparation of tender documents and, above all, maintain the detailed perspective of the entire bidding phase.
  • Management of orders; from confirmation of the order until delivery of the last product to the client.

You will be the focal point between the involved departments, and you will have the responsibility of following up with colleagues to ensure sufficient progress of the project.

Phase 2 (Country Manager)

With the comprehensive understanding of internal processes achieved in Phase 1, you will obtain customer responsibility as Country Manager with own sales budget.

A successful Country Manager possesses a commercial mind-set and has a profound understanding of customers’ and stakeholders’ interests combined with a strong will to win.

You must expect around 30-40 travelling days per year, primarily to Africa, as the majority of our clients are based in public entities on the African continent. Therefore, cultural understanding and outstanding networking skills are essential.

Your qualifications

You have an educational background at bachelor or master level coupled with some years of work experience. The most important thing to us is that you exhibit personal drive and commitment and that you thrive in a busy work environment, where two days are never alike.

Furthermore, you possess the following qualifications:

  1. You have excellent collaboration skills and you enjoy working with ambitious, passionate and energetic colleagues.
  2. You have a natural talent for networking and maintaining new relations.
  3. You perform well under time pressure and you keep focused when everything around you is burning. You see qualified suggestions for solutions where others may see obstacles.
  4. You have strong communication skills in English and preferably also in French. Knowledge of Danish is not a requirement but an additional advantage.
  5. You have a good sense of humour and you are eager to learn.

In addition, you are experienced user of MS Office and preferably familiar with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
