Equality is good for business!

On Thursday the 24th of March, the Chamber organized a conference on the theme “Equality is mutually beneficial” where more than 50 of our members participated. A huge thank you goes out to Mette Gade and 360 Law Firm for agreeing to host the conference at their beautiful venue overlooking the northern part of Copenhagen Harbor.

The conference saw three excellent speakers contributing to an insightful discussing on this ever-more important theme. Mette Gade, besides being the day’s hostess, also performed a presentation on her journey of creating a new law firm, together with a male partner. Aurelie Morin-Billault, who is the CFO at L’Oreal Nordics, was present digitally due a positive COVID test but nevertheless managed to be part of the conference via Teams. The last speaker was Sander van Enschot from Sephora who brought an interesting perspective as a male employee in a “feminine” company. This conference also saw the moderator debut of Kim Ginnerup, member of the Chamber’s board, to oversee the conference and arising discussions. Thank you to all speakers and Kim for sharing their experiences and creating an environment suited for the theme of the conference.

Also a big thank you to Les Grands Chais de France for providing the wines for the networking cocktail, which followed the conference and allowed our members to get better acquainted. Queen’s Delight kindly provided delicious éclairs for our member to indulge the famous French treat.

Please find pictures from the conference on this page, along with the slides from Mette’s presentation.
