Job fair 2024

On Thursday the 4th of April, the Chamber held its first ever job fair in the beautiful premises of Hotel d’Angleterre.

The fair was motivated by different factors: In general, it is very complicated for companies to attract the right talents in Denmark these days. Also, thanks to our HR committee, we had realised that respected French groups sometimes suffer from a lack of notoriety on the Danish market. For these reasons, we decided to organise a job fair where French companies could introduce themselves and their job opportunities to students from different universities. Moreover, the fair functioned as an employer branding action for the participating companies.

Following a very busy afternoon with a packed conference room the entire time, we could happily conclude that the fair was a success. Thanks to the commitment and professionalism of our participating companies, we were fully booked already a few days before the fair and only registered a few no-shows at the event. On the day, almost 450 participants joined the event.

For this first edition, the Chamber organised the fair with two main partners: l'Institut Francais and our new sponsor member of the Chamber, Cegid Talentsoft.

As exhibitors, we were delighted to welcome:
- Alstom
- Atos
- Business and Institut francais
- Capgemini
- Chanel
- Colas
- Dassault Systemes
- L’Oréal
- Schneider Electric
- Sephora
- Thales
- TotalEnergies

A big thanks to all the companies that were present on this day and trusted us with organising this first edition of the fair.

In order to promote the event to the universities, we worked closely with representatives of the different universities. A big thanks to these universities and their representatives:
- RUC: Mille and Sofie
- CBS: Alice, Stanislas and your team, and also Emma, our former intern at the Chamber
- ITU: Carina, Ida and Cecilie
- DTU: Thor and Caroline
- KEA: Lars and Asger
- KU: Simone and Jacob
- Aalborg University: Kristi

After an intensive afternoon, we went to the Embassy where a reception had been organised to thank the companies and the university representatives. Our warmest thanks to the Ambassador for welcoming us and also to Mark Peitersen, Operational Director at Cegid, for introducing the companies' activities.

The reception gave us the occasion to draw the winner of the flight ticket contest. Lars Sögaard Nielsen from KEA was the lucky winner.

We would like to thank our two main partners, the companies that were present, and also the representatives of the universities, who all made it possible to host a successful first edition of the job fair.

Please find below some pictures from the fair and the following ceremony at the Embassy.
