Artificial Intelligence conference at CBS

Artificial Intelligence has become a hot topic in the last year, and on Thursday the 23rd of November, the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce hosted an event to accommodate this exact interest among its members. At the event, which was organized as a conference, representatives from a broad variety of French and international companies in Denmark provided the participants with valuable insights into how they each use generative AI. The speakers were Christoffer Vildershøj Jensen, Head of Consumer Engagement at L’Oréal; Tommy Ayouty, CEO of Thales Denmark; Henry De-Quatrebarbes, Head of Treasury at Totalenergies; René Rasmussen, Client Director at Atos; and Managing Director of Hays, Vibe Puggaard.

The conference was moderated by two representatives from CBS debating society, Martha Johanne Schou and Arnulf Johannes Snedker-Nielsen who smoothly guided the five panelists through a series of questions about generative AI, the future of AI in the workplace, how new technologies will influence the skills demanded from employees and how AI can be managed in an ethical manner. Thus, the more than 100 participants at the event, were provided with valuable and highly applicable knowledge from across five different sectors - knowledge that will hopefully prove useful as the job market continues its fast evolution in the next few years.

After the conference, all participants and panelists were invited to stay for a glass of wine, some French pastries and a chat about the content of the conference. These networking sessions are always a great way to connect and discuss the interesting topics!

Every November, the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce hosts a conference at CBS, and this year we had the pleasure of hosting the event in collaboration with CBS French Culture Club. This student society is driven by volunteers who all share a common interest of all things French. The collaboration with the Chamber was therefore a perfect match, which allowed both members and participants to become familiar with the French companies present in Denmark, and gave the panelists a chance to meet with young students from many different backgrounds.
