General Assembly and BLOXHUB presentation

On the 30th of August the Danish French Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of inviting members to two very special events in one: The annual General Assembly and a presentation on BLOXHUB.

The event was very suitably hosted at BLOXHUB’s conference room “Los Angeles” in the charming Fæstningens Materielgård, by the Copenhagen canals.

The first part of the event was the General Assembly. Here the highlight was the appointment of four new board members: Pia Laursen from Simone Pérèle, Benjamin Duval from Moët Hennessy, Alexis Philippon from L’Oréal, and Jimmy Sell from the Danish Embassy in France.

As the General Assembly came to an end, we were happy to welcome Torben Klitgaard, CEO of BLOXHUB, to the stage.

BLOXHUB is a Nordic hub for sustainable urbanization – an ecosystem of companies, organizations, research institutions and public bodies working to create better cities. Through local and global partnership programs and activities, BLOXHUB helps their 350+ members to connect with relevant partners, share knowledge and create new opportunities and markets.

Apart from impressing the crowd with a short introduction in French, Torben Klitgaard walked the attendees through the work and aspirations of BLOXHUB.

As tradition dictates the event was rounded off with a networking cocktail where participants were able to meet and discuss the content of the conference. Even the sun decided to make an appearance and the networking cocktail, could thus be enjoyed in the courtyard in front of the meeting room.

Thank you to Les Grands Chais de France for providing the wine for the cocktail and to Cakery Copenhagen for the wonderful éclairs.

Additionally, we would like to extent our greatest thanks to Torben Klitgaard and the BLOXHUB team for the presentation and collaboration.
