Financial Controller, Denmark - Legrand

Do you have passion for numbers and financial processes and would like to be Financial Controller of our Danish entity and lead the local accounting team?

Legrand Danmark AS is part of Legrand Nordic Zone consisting of 12 independent countries with strong growth strategy in Nordics. We are part of Legrand Group, French company listed in the “CAC40”.

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller
to ensure qualitative accounting and reporting according to our global (IFRS) and local Danish standards. You are also supporting local management in decision making and managing finance performance overall.

You will be joining the local finance team in our new and modern premises in Hvidovre, Copenhagen. You report to our Country General Manager and in matrix to our Nordic Zone CFO and be part of our Nordic Zone Finance team as well as Local Management team.

Your responsibilities

Piloting the finance performance
Monthly closing in local Gaap
Monthly reporting to Nordic Zone and IFRS reporting to Group
Annual Financial Statements
Annual budgeting process
Quarterly forecasting process
Implement group guidelines and instructions locally
Act as financial sparring partner for local management
Lead the local accounting team
Manage the local accounting and payroll outsourcing partner
Developing the performance and quality of the local finance processes
Internal audit and compliance implementation

You have:

Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance
Strong knowledge in accounting, finance and controlling as well as good analytical skills
Excellent ICT skills, especially Excel functions and formulas and experience in ERP systems
Fluent spoken and written communication in English
Experience in a similar financial role in an international company (Ideally Audit/Controlling)
Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
Self-confidence to take fast decisions
A positive can-do attitude and enjoy new challenges and constant learning
A structured way of working, ability to keep deadlines and ready to take responsibilities
